  • One of the best hotel I have stayed in.

It is across the street from Kyoto station and accessible to so many places.

The room is decadently large and spacious with a couch and table with lots of space between beds. The rooms have a Japanese aesthetic I cannot describe but the colors blend well together and is quite relaxing. There are two additional rooms; one has a toilet and sink. Toilet was easy to access from a 90 degree angle from the right, sink it too low to roll under but the bathroom is spacious. Bidet was wonderful.
The other room has a sink (also too low) and then the roll in shower and tub. This is a real roll in shower with a shower chair which I find a little scary. The toilet being in a separate area gives a feel of additional luxury.

I would be very happy to return to this hotel it is not perfect but pretty close.

  • Accessible rooms have a great view. The rooms are a little tight so any big electric chairs may have an issue maneuvering.
The bathroom is adequate but there is a bathtub. If you want to shower there is a chair and you can shower in the bathroom itself as there is a drain. The shower chair is your average shower chair and I find them little scary.
The toilet can only be accessed by a 90 degree angle (from the left). There is a bar to grab on to but transferring may be an issue for some. The bidet is pure luxury.

I would have no issue returning to this hotel. It is not perfect but depending on your abilities (I am T10) the room suffices. Staff is your traditional Japanese polite and always helpful.
