Step into Osaka’s most nostalgic neighborhood and discover why Shinsekai is a food lover’s paradise. This retro district, born in the 1920s as an entertainment hub for theater-goers, has preserved its post-war charm—narrow alleyways lined with vintage neon signs, decades-old eateries, and the irrepressible Osaka merchant spirit that still thrives today. Over 3 hours, you’ll taste the real Shinsekai: crispy kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers), piping-hot takoyaki, silky kasu udon, and the energy of Japan’s kitchen. Perfect for families, food enthusiasts, and anyone craving an authentic taste of Osaka’s living history.
