MIMARU Tokyo Station East is an apartment-style hotel in Tokyo’s Chuo ward with 85 non-smoking rooms. Each room comes with a full kitchen including an IH stove, refrigerator, microwave, and cooking utensils. With dining tables and enough space for up to four guests per room (eight in connecting configurations), it works well for families and groups who’d rather cook some of their own meals.
Most of the rooms are two-bedroom configurations. Room types include two-bedroom apartments with four single beds, one-bedroom family apartments with bunk beds, and several suite variations on higher floors that add a second bathroom and in-room washer-dryer. Japanese-style suites are available on upper floors as well. Connecting rooms combine two apartments for up to eight guests. A two-bedroom accessible apartment is available, detailed in the accessibility section below.
There is no on-site restaurant, but each room’s kitchen comes with tableware, cutlery, pots, and pans. Rice cookers and halal cooking utensils can be borrowed from the front desk for free, and prayer mats and a Qibla compass are also available on request.
Facilities include free Wi-Fi, a coin laundry room on the third floor with six washers and six dryers, 24-hour security, and a multilingual interpreter app. Each room has a safety box, air purifier, hair dryer, TV, and washlet toilet with the washstand and bath separate. The hotel employs international staff who speak English and various other languages.
The nearest station is Hatchobori – a two-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Exit 4, or a four-minute walk from the JR Keiyo Line Exit B1. Kayabacho Station on the Hibiya Line is about three minutes away. Tokyo Station is about 14 minutes on foot. Haneda Airport is roughly 40 minutes by train or 30 minutes by limousine bus, and Narita Airport takes about 65 minutes by train.

One priority parking space is available on the first floor – guests can ring the intercom at the entrance to access it. Availability should be confirmed with the hotel in advance.

The bathroom entrance has a nearly flat threshold cm with grab bars installed around the shower and bath area. The bathtub height is 50 cm with a depth of 44 cm, and the shower has a height-adjustable hand shower (low: 125.5 cm, high: 184.5 cm). The toilet has a grab bar on one side. The washbasin, located in the room separate from the bathroom, has knee clearance underneath for wheelchair users.
Freestanding handrails, shower chairs, and bath grips are available as free rentals, subject to availability.
For guests with visual impairments, staff are trained in assisting guests with guide dogs and can escort guests to their room when possible.
Dietary needs are handled by the in-room kitchen, where guests can prepare meals to suit any requirements. Halal cooking utensils are available on request, and the hotel accepts advance requests for special needs.
The hotel provides a universal design access map with step-by-step directions from Hatchobori and Kayabacho stations, noting accessible routes, elevators, steep slopes, and narrow sidewalks. MIMARU has also published an accessible travel guide.
