The hotel provides a free local shuttle but would not be accessible for power wheelchairs. While located in Kita ward, it is still close to Umeda Sky Building (3-minute walk), Osaka Science Museum (17-minute walk), Mint Museum (38-minute walk) and Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade (38-minute walk).
Accessibility
The hotel offers 2 rooms that are accessible – both have one double bed. They have no accessible rooms with twin rooms. The rooms are quite adequate at 41 square meters, to transfer to the bed from a wheelchair. The width of the room door is 90cm (2.95ft) and the width of the entrance to the bathroom is 88cm (2.88ft) so there is enough width to pass through in a typical wheelchair.
The washroom has room for a wheelchair to get in beside the toilet for a transfer and are there bars for both the toilet and the tub. They can provide chair for bathtub; however, there is not a separate shower in the accessible room, so the shower chair will need to be used next to the bathtub.
The hotel entrance is fully accessible as there are no steps. However the restaurant Amadeus has a couple of steps at the entrance but staff are “willing to help”. For the Japanese restaurant Hanano, there are some areas with steps to them but they can provide an accessible option. For the Chinese restaurant Kokyu, there are no barriers to entry.
