Located within Kyoto Station, Hotel Granvia Kyoto is a great place to make your headquarters when exploring Kyoto in a wheelchair. With the exception of the Southern Court Sky Lounge, all restaurants and hotel facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Guide dogs are welcomed throughout the facilities and the staff can speak multiple languages.
Hotel Granvia Kyoto offers 6 spacious wheelchair accessible rooms with 34m² to easily move around in. While the rooms do not have a roll-in shower, a shower chair can be placed next to the bath tub and be used as a shower area. A flashing alarm is available for those with hearing impairments.

Hotel conveniently located and generally accessible in a wheelchair. Bathroom relatively easy to get around but staff had to be asked to provide a shower chair for beside the bath. The amount of room between the single beds was only just wide enough for my wheelchair but with no space at all for turning so getting in and out of bed was difficul
