Just a 7 to 10 minute walk from JR Sagano San’insen Hanazono Station, Hanazono Kaikan stands in quiet surroundings next to Myoshinji temple. It can be a great place to use as a base for exploring Arashiyama and Sagano areas.
Accessibility
Hanazono Kaikan offers two 17.1㎡ accessible room (“universal design”) with twin beds.
The bathroom is rather unique as it features a table next to the bath for transferring. Unfortunately, the shower hoses are located behind the table and tub, so customers using a shower chair next to the tub, will not be able to reach the hose and controls without assistance (see photo tab).
