MIMARU Kyoto Kawaramachi Gojo is an apartment-style hotel in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, operated by Cosmos Hotel Management. The property sits near the Kamo River, about a three-minute walk from Kiyomizu-gojo Station on the Keihan Line. From the station, an elevator at Exit 4 provides step-free access to street level, and the hotel has prepared a detailed accessible route map for guests who need it.
The hotel offers several room types, all designed around the idea of staying in a furnished apartment rather than a standard hotel room. The Family Apartment and Pokémon Room each accommodate up to four guests, while the Apartment 5 Singles can sleep five. Larger groups can book the Family Deluxe or the Connecting Family, which joins two rooms. There is also an Accessible Family Apartment designed for wheelchair users.
Every room comes with a kitchen equipped with an IH cooktop, a refrigerator, cookware, dishes, and a dining area. There is no on-site restaurant, but having a full kitchen means guests with dietary needs or allergies can shop at nearby stores and cook their own meals.
Common facilities include a fitness room, a children’s play area, coin laundry on the first floor with seven washers and seven dryers, and luggage storage at the front desk. The laundry machines have multilingual signage, automatic detergent dispensing, and staff can help with operation if needed. All rooms are non-smoking.
The front desk is staffed by a multilingual team. English support is available, and the hotel employs staff from various countries who can assist in additional languages depending on who is on duty. Written communication is available at the front desk for guests who prefer it. For travelers arriving from Kansai International Airport or Osaka’s Itami Airport, the hotel website provides detailed transit directions.
