Kiyota Ryokan

Kiyota Ryokan is a small but beautiful Japanese-style inn located in Toyama Prefecture, specifically in Toyama City, a short under-10-minute stroll from the beautiful Toyama Castle and its nearby museum. It offers some modern accommodation with an optional meal plan, a small LCD TV, an adjacent restaurant, common rooms (with kitchen), public baths, public washrooms/showers (the Universal room has a private washroom/shower), and rooms with free WiFi access is available in most areas. It is a 2-minute walk to Aramachi Station and a 6-minute walk from Kokusaikaigijo-Mae Station.

Guestrooms offer both air-conditioning and heating facilities as well as a TV.

Coin-Laundry machines are available at the hotel and a fridge is available in the common kitchen.

Kiyota Ryokans’ adjacent Restaurant Bistro Cadeau, on the first floor, serves casual French cuisine using local ingredients in a relaxed setting. It is open from 7 a.m. -10 p.m. (Closed: Every Tuesdays, as well as the second and fourth Monday of every month).

The public baths can be reserved in advance between the hours 6:00-9:00pm.

Accessibility

Kiyota Ryokan does have steps at the entrance; however, they have installed a lift that bypasses these steps to ensure access for wheelchair users.

The lower area of the restaurant has wheelchair accessible seating in the lower area.

The public baths have some steps:

• Large Public Bath: 25cm step when entering the changing area, 1cm step between changing area and bathing area
• Small Public Bath: 10cm step when entering the changing area, 25cm step between changing area and bathing area

Guide dogs are allowed in the majority of the hotel including the accessible room, common kitchen, common lounge, entrance area of the 12-mat tatami room, restaurant, and other common areas.  Guide dogs cannot enter the public bath or 6-mat Japanese style rooms.

Kiyota Ryokan has an accessible Universal room with no steps and a private bathroom. Three single beds are available in the room, when necessary, a fourth guest in the room would be provided with a futon.

The toilet is equipped with multiple useful fixtures including grab bars, bidet, and accessible sink. There is a 20cm step into the unit bath. The unit bath consists of a shower space and bathtub. There are vertical and horizontal grab bar as well as a stool to sit on.

An accessible family/unisex toilet is available at the common area, equipped with multiple useful fixtures including grab bars, bidet, and accessible sink.
