BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel occupies floors 18 and 39 to 47 of the TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The hotel opened in 2023 and has 97 rooms, all with floor-to-ceiling windows offering wide views of the city.
Every room comes equipped with Slumberland beds, Italian Frette linens, Imabari towels, a coffee machine, mini-bar, Bluetooth speaker, yoga mat, and a 43- to 55-inch flat-screen TV with built-in apps. Bathrooms throughout the hotel feature a separate wet area and powder area, with both a bathtub and a high-pressure rain shower.
Four dining venues sit on the 45th floor. Restaurant Bellustar serves modern French cuisine in a three-story atrium space with 13-meter ceilings and seats 36, with a private dining room for up to 8 guests. Teppan Ten-yu is a 10-seat teppanyaki counter, and Sushi JIN-É offers Edomae sushi for up to 9 guests. Bar Bellustar seats 58 and serves craft cocktails made with Japanese ingredients. In-room dining is available as well.
The 46th floor houses a guest-exclusive lounge. SPA sunya, on the 47th floor, offers body treatments drawing on regional Japanese traditions. A 24-hour gym, laundry service, and concierge desk with interpreter support are also on hand. Concierge staff speak English, Chinese, Korean, and several other languages including Swedish, Spanish, French, Nepali, and Russian.
Seibu Shinjuku Station is a one-minute walk from the hotel, and JR Shinjuku Station is about seven minutes on foot. The Toei Oedo Line’s Shinjuku Nishiguchi Station is six minutes away, while Shinjuku Sanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi and Fukutoshin lines is eight minutes. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm.
Accessibility Features
BELLUSTAR TOKYO is accessible throughout the property, with step-free access to all major areas including the entrance, front desk and lobby, elevators, guest room floors, restaurants, and the spa.
The hotel has one accessible room, an accessible Studio Premier Twin with two 120cm-wide beds set at a height of 55cm from the floor to the top of the mattress. The room is spacious with a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling windows, and open pathways between the furniture. A flat-screen TV is mounted on the wall, and the room includes the same amenities found in other guest rooms. A 360-degree view of the Studio Premier Twin room type is available on the hotel website. (Note the 360-degree view is not of the accessible room but the style is the same. Be sure to request the accessible Studio Premier Twin at time of booking.)
The bathroom has a step-free entry. The wet area includes a separate shower and a freestanding bathtub, so guests can shower without needing to use the tub. A shower chair is provided upon request. Grab bars are installed around the shower area, and a height-adjustable handheld showerhead is fitted. The toilet has grab bars on both sides. Under the sink, there is clearance for wheelchair users to roll up and use it from the front. A non-slip bath mat is available on request for the wet area.
For guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, a visual flashing alarm device is available as loaner equipment from the front desk. Writing boards and memo pads are kept at the front desk for written communication, and staff can also communicate through text input on a tablet or smartphone.
Guests with visual impairments can request a staff escort to their room and to hotel facilities such as the restaurants and spa, subject to staff availability.
Lighting in the living and bed areas of guest rooms can be dimmed, though entrance and bathroom lights operate on an on/off basis only. A mild aroma is used in common areas throughout the hotel.
The hotel’s restaurants accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan dietary needs. Other allergy-related requests can be arranged with advance notice.
