    Can you recommend good local ramen shops in Shinjuku that are accessible? Or any other type of noodle joints or izakayas? English speaking staff not important, will be with a local friend. The more authentic the better!

    Hello

    Yikes, that is a hard one!  In general, ramen shops are not accessible.  Additionally, in general, restaurants in Shinjuku (aside from ones in department buildings) are not very accessible.

    There are some without steps, but often the stools are not removable…

    Are you in a manual chair or power chair?  Can you transfer or not?

    That can help us find a place.
